Rebecca Bagley, a senior and psychology major, and Amanda Leonard, a senior and elementary education major, are serving as tutors for the 2010-11 school year at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.

Tutors offer support to students in a variety of academics disciplines, including math, science and writing. Tutors are selected by professors for their content knowledge and ability to assist other students with the material. They are also trained by academic support professionals. In addition to providing one-to-one services, tutors facilitate study groups and test review sessions.
