Saints’ Hanson named All-UMAC

Albert Lea grad was 2nd on team with 58 tackles
Jordan Hanson, a 2008 graduate of Albert Lea High School, was named first team All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference as a member of the St. Scholastica Saints football team.
According to a press release, Hanson was among 13 Saints named to either the first or second team in just its third season as a football program.
Hanson finished second on the team with 58 tackles including eight for a loss. He also recorded 1 1/2 sacks and two fumble recoveries.
A sophomore this season, Hanson played defensive tackle for St. Scholastica, Duluth, after transferring from Ridgewater Community College in Willmar.
At ALHS, Hanson was a two-year letterwinner in football and basketball, and also participated in baseball and track and field.
The Saints finished the season 7-3, 5-3 in the UMAC and won their final four games.
