Members of Salem Lutheran Church, Albert Lea, held an installation service for their pastor, the Rev. Mark Niethammer, on Sunday, Nov. 21. The Rev. Larry Iverson from the Southeast Minnesota Synod Office did the installing and also preached the sermon for the day. Following the service, a catered meal was served in honor of the Rev. Niethammer and his wife, Molly. It was a great gathering of fellowship and the congregation is grateful to the Call Committee for their efforts in finding this special man to lead the Salem congregation.
