An abandoned home just east of Bath on 325th Street burned late Saturday evening. Geneva Fire Department responded with assistance from Clarks Grove Fire Department. Reports from the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office say the home has been abandoned for years and is owned by Dennis and Elizabeth Boettcher of Blue Earth. No one was at the home when it burned, and no injuries were reported. The home’s address is 75578 325th St., Ellendale. -- Kelli Lageson/Albert Lea Tribune
