As part of the July-August sustainable art exhibit at the Albert Lea Art Center, viewers could participate in an interactive “make a face” art table.

Sara Aeikens provided hundreds of recycled objects picked up along her walks over the last several years.

From this selection, dozens of contestants each made a unique face and took an instant camera photo of their creation for judging in two categories: adult and children.

Larry Baker and Susan Moore, both of Albert Lea, were the adult winners.

Conner Lee from out of state, grandson of Mike and Renee Lee of Albert Lea, was the children’s winner.
