Green Devils top Bulldogs

The Lake Mills Bulldogs girls’ basketball team fought back from a 14 point deficit to tie the game in the third quarter, but the Osage Green Devils outscored the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter to take a 40-38 win on Friday in Lake Mills.
“I’m very proud of how the girls fought back from 14 down in the third quarter to tie the game going into the fourth,” Lake Mills coach Beth Van Roekel said. “The girls played hard and never gave up. We had our chances in the end but it didn’t go our way.”
Lindy Pins led the Bulldogs with 20 points, while Amanda Lampman had 10.
Lake Mills is in action against Estherville on Saturday. Results were not known when this edition went to press.
