LAKE MILLS, Iowa — Alex Grunhovd had 16 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, one assist shy of a triple double as the Lake Mills Bulldogs boys’ basketball team defeated the Osage Green Devils 67-61 on Friday to remain undefeated on the season.

“Alex Grunhovd was one assist away from a triple double,” Lake Mills coach Kyle Menke said. “He made several crucial plays throughout the game. Our fourth quarter free throw shooting was the difference tonight.”

The Bulldogs went 18-23 from the free throw line compared to only 8-17 for the Green Devils.

Along with Grunhovd, Marcus Gaskill also recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Tyler Rice led Lake Mills with 18 points.

Lake Mills played Estherville on Saturday, results were not known when this edition went to press.
