The Albert Lea High School football stadium formerly known as Hammer Field has been given a facelift and will be officially re-named Jim Gustafson Field at halftime of the Albert Lea, Waseca football game Thursday.

The facelift includes new construction and signage at the entry gates and new signage on the scoreboard.

The project was completed and paid for through donations from former ALHS players, alumni, friends of Gus and corporate sponsors at no cost to the school district.
