Rebels volleyball unable to close out close match

It was another close match for the United South Central volleyball team Monday night against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton in Janesville and once again the Rebels weren’t able to close out a victory.
USC fell 27-25, 25-16, 26-24 in three sets.
Danielle Koestler led the team with eight kills while Val Sahr had seven and added seven solo blocks and two assists.
Carly Peterson had 15 digs and went 14-for-15 with four aces from the service line.
The loss ended the regular season for the Rebels, who will wait for their section playoff opponent. The section tournament begins Oct. 26.
