Betty Lou Fendrich, 80, Wells

Betty Lou Cleo (More) Fendrich , age 80, of Wells died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Country Neighbors in Mapleton. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. Visitation will be at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
The Rev. Thomas Niehaus will officiate and burial will take place in St. Casimir Cemetery in Wells. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.
Betty Lou Fendrich was born on July 30, 1932, in Pemberton to Fay and Helen (Burnell) More. She was united in marriage to Harvey Fendrich on Nov. 15, 1949, in rural Waseca. To this union five children were born.
Betty Lou attended school in Pemberton. She was a lifetime stay at home mother and farm wife. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and St. Casimir CCW, the Rosary Society, Red Hats, National Catholic Society of Foresters, golf club and many card clubs. Betty Lou loved playing cards, and winning, eating out, shopping and baking. She also loved and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Betty Lou is survived by her four children, Marvin (LeAnn) of Emmons, Marlene (Dave) Huper Alden, Mark (Lynn) and Marlin, all of Wells; 10 grandchildren, Kim (Chris) Hillenga, Jeremy (Lynn) Witte, Justin (Frances) Witte, Deena (Matt) Zadow, Eric (Kayla) Huper, Kristi (Joe) Koziolek, Danielle (Travis) Hinz, Logan (Jessica Redman) Fendrich, Zach (Cassandra) Fendrich, Cheyenne Fendrich; 17 great-grandchilren and one en route; sisters, Violet Stenzel, Evangeline Stenzel, Pearl (Willie) Lentz, Ellamay Tarpy and (husband Paul) Branster; brothers, Fay (Darlene) More and Charlie More; sisters-in-law, Carol More and Margie More; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws Joseph and Amelia Fendrich, husband, daughter Mary, brothers, Marvin Dale, Kenneth, Alvis; sister Thelma; brothers-in-law, Dominic, Walter, Jerry, Luverne (Bud), Eddie; sisters-in-law, Betty and Millie.
