Panthers pound Bulldogs

JANESVILLE- The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers  girls’ basketball team had four players score in double figures as the Panthers defeated the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs 68-35 on Tuesday in Janesville.

Carlie Wagner scored 16 points, while Jade Schultz had 14 points.

“We started the game with a 12-0 lead when Jade Schultz hit three three pointers early,” NRHEG coach John Schultz said. “We used a pressure defense to grab 34 steals and force 41 turnovers which was the story of the game.”

Along with Wagner and Schultz, Anna Schlaak and Kristina Cole both had 12 points apiece.

Bailey Zimprich led JWP with 10 points.

The Panthers hit the court again on Thursday as they host W-E-M.
