Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services Inc., is sponsoring a will advice clinic on Monday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Albert Lea Senior Center in Skyline Plaza.
The clinic is free to all senior citizens attending. Each participant will be provided with a private consultation (15 to 20 minutes) with an attorney who will answer basic questions about wills. For the upcoming clinic, Mark Anderson will be available. Anderson will not be drafting wills during appointment times, but will, however, review an existing will and make suggestions on changes that should be made. The clinic has been designed to provide senior citizens with information and direction on power of attorney, life estates and wills and advise on other estate planning issues.
Appointments are required to participate in the will advice clinic and can be made by calling Albert Lea Senior Center at 373-0704 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. If you have any questions concerning the will advice clinic, call Debi Finseth at 1-800-223-0280 ext. 3.
