Hawthorne Elementary School Principal Corrine Tims fell at the school Thursday morning and was transported to Albert Lea Medical Center.
Superintendent Michael Funk confirmed that Tims fell and was at the medical center. According to ALMC officials, Tims was treated and then released from the medical center.
Hawthorne staff chose not to speak about the incident.
Funk said Tims should return to work at Hawthorne in a few days.
“I think she’s fine. I would expect her back to work in the near future,” Funk said.
