Knights control Cyclones

ALDEN– Ariel Keller recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Alden-Conger Knights girls’ basketball team defeated the St. Clair Cyclones 57-42 Thursday in Alden.
“We played very very well on defense,” Alden-Conger coach Gary Newman said. “We were very intense and it was a total team effort.”
Along with Keller, Taylor Martin had 17 points and Karina Skov recorded 15 points for the Knights.
Alden-Conger shot 12-of-29 from the free throw line and pulled down 38 total rebounds on the night.
The Knights are back in action tonight at 7:30 p.m. as they host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial.
