LAKE MILLS, Iowa– Tim Brandt scored a career-high 22 points, while Marcus Gaskill had 16 points and 20 rebounds as the Lake Mills Bulldogs boys’ basketball team defeated the Mason City Newman Knights 72-57 Saturday in Lake Mills.

“Tim Brandt scored a career-high and Marcus Gaskill grabbed 20 rebounds for the third time this season,” Lake Mills coach Kyle Menke said. “Our team defense in the second half was excellent.”

Tyler Rice also scored 19 points for Lake Mills.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday as they host West Hancock.
