DULUTH — A former Minnesota Power official has pleaded guilty to stealing from her employer.
Susan Thompson worked as director of customer service at Minnesota Power for more than 20 years. She resigned in January 2010 and admitted she used a corporate credit card for personal expenses.
The 54-year-old Thompson entered the guilty plea to theft of corporate property in district court in Duluth Tuesday and agreed to pay restitution of $150,000. Prosecutors said Thompson forged her supervisor’s signature in making false claims for expense reimbursements.
Thompson will be sentenced Feb. 14.
