The 18th annual Third Grade Farm Tours will be Wednesday and Thursday. This event is sponsored by the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Committee.

On Wednesday, students from the Albert Lea schools of Hawthorne, Lakeview, Halverson, Sibley and St. Theodore will visit the farms.

On Thursday, students from schools in New Richland, Hartland, Ellendale, Geneva and Glenville will tour the farms.

The students will visit Larry Reynen’s potato farm near Maple Island, Gary Braatan’s hog farm near Corning and John Miller’s dairy farm near Oakland.
