Maubro Ochoa, 84, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Maubro E. (Morris) Ochoa of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Eugene Stenzel and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea.
Morris died on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the Sunrise Cottage in Rochester. He was 84 years of age.
Morris was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Benjamin, Texas, the son of Roger Sr. and Agatha (Everette) Ochoa. He was raised in Texas and attended public school there. He lived most of his adult life in Riverside, Calif., where he worked as a foreman in the canning factory. He retired in 1990. He has lived for the past five years in Albert Lea. He was united in marriage to Pauline Zamora on July 9, 2009.
Morris enjoyed TV, movies and spending time with the grandchildren. He loved music and going dancing.
Morris is survived his wife Pauline of Albert Lea, sons Morris Jr. of Ft Worth, Texas, Eugene (Vicky) of Ft Worth, John (Sylvia) of Ft Worth, stepdaughters Lynn (Jim) Webb of Green Bay, Wis., Darice (Steve) Hamberg of Albert Lea, Linda (Stanley) Miller of Loveland, Colo., stepsons Larry (Louise) Jaramillo of Riverside, Calif., and Albert (Shannon) Jaramillo of Seattle. There are 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Brothers and sisters surviving include Roger (Mary) Ochoa of Wichita Falls, Texas, Edward (Yolanda) Ochoa of Wichita Falls, Patrick (Gerry) Ochoa of Houston, Texas, Ortencia Fernandez of Wichita Falls, Sarah (Frank) Perez of Wichita Falls, Lucia (Ignacio) Saldonia of Wichita Falls and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy and one grandson.
