Tim Westrum attended a two-day meeting at Pioneer Hi-Bred’s research headquarters in Johnston, Iowa, Aug. 3-4. The event was the culmination of the initial training and orientation to Pioneer for Westrum and included laboratory and plot tours to showcase the newest research innovations and experimental trials. Presentations by Pioneer scientists and senior leadership provided further insight into research and growth plans.

“An essential element of our goal to place the right Pioneer brand product on the right acre is the skill and knowledge of our Pioneer sales representatives,” said Alejandro Munoz, Pioneer vice president of sales, North America region. “This week’s activities — coupled with the extensive training conducted by our local field sales staff — help ensure that Tim provides the products and services to best meet customer’s needs.”
