Tigers tie Spartans hockey

The Albert Lea Tigers boys’ hockey team rallied from a 3-1 deficit Tuesday in the third period to tie Rochester Mayo in overtime at Graham Arena in Rochester.
Eric Carlson led the Tigers with two goals.
With the one-point tie, the Tigers remain two points ahead of Mayo in the Big Nine standings. The Tigers need to win one of their final two games to clinch the Big Nine title.
