Lake Mills wrestler hopes to place high at state tourney
Q: What year are you in school?
A: Senior.
Q: What school do you attend?
A: Lake Mills Community School.
Q: Who is your immediate family?
A: I’m son of Beth and Joel Dahle. My brother’s name is Levi and my sister’s name is Josie.
Q: What sports are you involved in?
A: Wrestling, football and baseball.
Q: What is the weight class you have wrestled in the most this season?
A: 138.
Q: How did you get started in wrestling?
A: My dad brought me to the youth practice when I was in first grade.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about wrestling?
A: The sense of accomplishment when you get done with practice or a hard tournament.
Q: Do you have siblings that play or have played any sports?
A: My brother played football and baseball, wrestled for two years and ran track. My sister is a wrestling cheerleader.
Q: What are your sports related achievements?
A: Two-time conference champion. Two-time district qualifier and one-time state qualifier. I’m in the 100-win club at my school. I was awarded the seventh spot in the rankings at 138 in Iowa Class 1A. Also, in football I was awarded second team All-State linebacker.
Q: What are your sports related goals?
A: Place high in the state tournament this year.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?
A: Adrian Peterson because he is a beast, and I like to watch him.
Q: What is your favorite school subject?
A: Science classes.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: My math teacher, Alex Brandenburg.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I play frisbee golf, hunt, fish and lift weights.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: To have my own electrician business.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Chicken and cheesecake.
Q: What is an interesting fact about you?
A: I was a premature baby by a month.
