Love is to die for at Lighthouse

The Lighthouse Event Center is again hosting a Valentine’s murder mystery dinner theater event.
Lighthouse owner Celeste Krause said the event was so popular last year that they decided to hold the dinner theater again this year. The murder mystery will be set in the 1920s, with performances by local actors with the 17th Street Players.
Shows start at 6:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Actors will perform during the meal’s courses and the audience will have to guess who the story’s murderer is.
Reservations are needed as soon as possible for the event and can be made by calling 373-3144. Tickets are $25 and include choice of lasagna or tomato basil chicken, along with sides and a dessert and catered by Hy-Vee.
Krause said guests are welcome to dress up in garb from the roaring 20s. The Lighthouse Event Center is at 621 Marshall St. in Albert Lea.
