Harry Green, 84, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Harry T. Green, of Albert Lea, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea.
The Rev. James Kassera will officiate. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
Harry passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at his home. He was 84.
He was born on May 7, 1928, in Roundup, Mont., the son of Charles A. and Carrie (Heine) Green. He grew up and graduated from high school in Roundup.
On Sept. 22, 1949, he married JoAnn Flo at the First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
They made their home in Albert Lea and he worked for Streater for more than 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, fixing odds and ends, sitting on the back deck enjoying the sunshine and drinking iced tea.
Harry would love it when his grandkids and great-grandkids came over to see him. He lived life to the fullest.
Harry is survived by his wife, JoAnn, of Albert Lea, children: Suzan (Gary) Riley of Carroll, Iowa, Chuck Green of Albert Lea, Thomas Green of Beaverton, Ore., Carrie (Leon “Butch”) Roberts of Beaverton, Ore., Lori (Kenn) Register of Albert Lea and Jaysen Green of Willits, Calif., 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; special friend Walter Richey of California; brother Raymond Green of Medford, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carrie and Charles Green, step mother Emma Green, two sons Steven and Bryce Green, sisters Irene Barnes and Helen Oakley, father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Madeline Flo.
He will be sadly missed by many family and friends.
