Head Start: Reading stories with and listening to preschoolers at the Brookside Education Center is a key step for getting them ready for kindergarten. Two readers are needed for Monday through Thursday, late morning or early afternoon. Call Daylin at 379-5160 to schedule a half day that works for you. A volunteer for office tasks is also needed.

Pelican Breeze II: Think spring! You can offer passenger hospitality as first mate on the Pelican Breeze II. They are also looking for a volunteer to handle crew scheduling for the scenic tours. Special Olympics coaches: Special Olympics Track & Field participants are picking up the pace in training. Your help with them is needed at Brookside beginning 4 to 5 p.m. March 18. To extend training for these athletes, please call Jo or Crystal Carr at 377-3469.
