The chairman of the House Education Finance Committee and District 27A Rep. Shannon Savick will host a town hall meeting Friday in Albert Lea.

The meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Albert Lea City Council Chambers.

According to a news release, District 4B Rep. Paul Marquart, DFL-Dilworth, will deliver a short presentation on education and building the world’s best workforce before opening the meeting up for questions and discussion.

Local education leaders will also be participating.
