The Area Community Choir, under the direction of John Degner, will present the Easter cantata, “Wondrous Love” by Lloyd Larson.

“Wondrous Love” is about suffering servant, crucified Christ, risen redeemer.

Performances will be during Holy Week as follows: at 7 p.m. Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells, at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Albert Lea and at 7 p.m. March 29 at Freeborn Congregational UCC in Freeborn.

The Area Community Choir is made up of members from Wells, Alden, Kiester, Freeborn and the Albert Lea area.

An offering will be taken. All proceeds go to the food shelf and to help defray expenses. Refreshments will follow all of the performances.
