The Blue Earth River Conference Women of the ELCA’s spring event will be Saturday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 605 W. State St., Kiester. The event will be co-hosted by Trinity Lutheran WELCA in rural Kiester.

Registration, coffee and fellowship begin at 8:30 a.m. The program begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon with no noon lunch. Registration is $5.

The theme is Rejoice-Celebrate. The Rev. Sarah Nietz of Minneola Lutheran in rural Goodhue will present the theme message.

Special time will be given to looking back at the first 25 year of the Women of the ELCA since organizing in 1986.

Offerings will be designated to the ELCA malaria campaign fund and to the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s 25th anniversary.
