About the Winona Daily News editorial on discrimination law, is that the same law that attacked wage classification rather than individual discrimination? The state was forced to come up with a system that would equate office workers’ wages with truck drivers? The decisions were based on standards that had little to do with actual job descriptions and no one’s wages could be decreased because it was found they were overpaid so the only option was to increase the wage of the other person so they would be overpaid also? I sure hope we don’t get rid of a law like that.
