Thanks for supporting Daffodil Days

Thank you to Freeborn County for making the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days program a success.

The American Cancer Society would like to thank the following volunteers for their efforts during Daffodil Days: Lenore Fries, Jenine Koziolek, Fern Urbatsch, Judy Kropp, Shari VanWey, Lois Anderson, Karen Mattson, Roger and Marge Lonning, Connie Peterson, Rosalyn Fossum, Arlene Egerdal, Gayle Olson, Marlene Behle, Marie Carlin, Sue Olson, Phyllis Hamberg, Lois Adams, Ella Nelson, Alicia Erickson, Phyllis Brandt, Jo Meyer, Erna Berthelsen, Caroline Neale, Phyllis Inderlie, Bob and Genie Hanson, Bonnie Schneider, Jan Zehnder, Larry Becker, Elaine Popp and Cindy Gandrud. We would also like to thank Hy-Vee, Nelson’s Market Place and Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for their assistance and support of the Daffodil Days program. This year Daffodil Days raised more than $9,000 for the fight against cancer in Freeborn County. The daffodil has been the first flower of spring and a sign of hope with the American Cancer Society for more than 40 years. We thank you all for your support of our life-saving mission. Please also support the Freeborn County Relay For Life on Aug. 9 at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. Having cancer is hard; finding help shouldn’t be. Call the American Cancer Society today at 1-800-227-2345 or visit us at cancer.org. The help you need is a call or click away.
