Gun dealers aren’t like bartenders

By the way, I enjoy this written banter. It gets the word out from both sides, conservative and liberal, and, sir, you are a liberal and should embrace it. What makes America the greatest country on Earth is our ability to agree to disagree.
As for your bartender or bar owner scenario, I believe you have that wrong. A bartender should be able to tell when a patron has had too much to drink. I, as a gun dealer, have no way of knowing what is hidden in the depths of a person’s mind. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms told us we were not psychologists. I have refused many sales because I felt something was not right. By doing this, I open myself up to civil suits. I have always taken my profession very seriously. Keeping in mind public safety and especially the safety of law enforcement.
Firearms are an American heritage and our way to keep freedom. There have been two great documents written in the world: the Ten Commandments of our Lord and the Constitution of the United States. Alter either one, and you will alter the course of American freedom and our way of life.
