Thomas Caporale, 68, Twin Lakes

Funeral services for Thomas Bruce Caporale will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Timothy Reker and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.
Thomas Caporale died on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Thorne Crest Retirement Community. He was 68 years old.
Thomas was born on Feb. 12, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y. The son of Anthony and Lydia (Deubert) Caporale, he graduated from high school in New York and obtained a two-year degree in Connecticut. On Feb. 21, 1986, he was united in marriage to Patti Hossan in Middletown, Conn. Together with their daughter, Annmarie, they moved to Twin Lakes in 1995 where they were members of the St. James parish.
Thomas was the owner of Precision Inspection in Connecticut and worked for Lou-Rich for eight years after moving to Minnesota. He had a hobby farm in Twin Lakes and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed making furniture, gardening, cars, trains and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Caporale, of Twin Lakes; daughters, Annmarie Caporale of Albert Lea, Brooke Petersen of Florida, and Kelly Herman of Florida, three grandchildren; brother, David Caporale of Long Island, N.Y.; sister, Connie (Alan) Andeen of Higganum, Conn.; nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Marylen Hossan of Southington, Conn.; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Hossan of Houston, Texas, Mary Ellen (David) Michaud and family of New Britain, Conn., and Kathleen (Eric) Newhard and family of Wallingford, Conn.; and special friends Ron (Sarah) Chapman of Vermont.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lydia; and sister, Eljay Brooks.
