SPIRE, or Special People in Religious Education, will hold its monthly church service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Crossroads Church, 3402 Hoeger Lane in Albert Lea. There will be music, object lesson and a message from the Rev. Dave Hernes. Families with or without developmental cognitive delays are welcome.

The mission of the group is to share spiritual direction and support to people with special needs.
