Wedding: Sorenson & Baird

Erica Sorenson and Nicholas Baird of Rapid City, S.D., were married at 5 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at the historic James Anderson Ranch in Spearfish, S.D. The Rev. Roy VanBerkum performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Tom and Julie Sorenson of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Harlan and Ardis Bang and Gordon and Marlene Sorenson, all of Albert Lea.
The groom’s parents are Bill and Jill Baird of Sturgis, S.D. Grandparents are the late Huck and June Burnham of Highmore, S.D., and the late Gladys Nelson of Sturgis.
The maid of honor was Bethany Kaemingk. Bridesmaids were Angie Fisher, Bailey Baird, Jessica Schmidt and Amy Pyle.
The best man was Danny Fisher. Groomsmen were Marlin Fallon, T.J. Pyle, Tim Yeaton and Matt Campbell.
Ushers were Justin Lancaster and Tyler Burnham.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Augustana College and is employed as a juvenile corrections agent for the state of South Dakota.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of the University of South Dakota and is employed as a court services officer for the state of South Dakota.
A reception was held at Elkhorn Ridge Resort in Spearfish.
A trip to Big Horn Mountains was taken following the wedding.
