MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves found out where they will be picking in the June draft, at least with one of their picks.
The NBA announced the tie-breakers on Friday for non-lottery picks. Memphis lost a draw with the Clippers, meaning the pick that the Grizzlies owe the Wolves will be 26th overall.
The Timberwolves finished the season 31-51, good for ninth place in the draft lottery. They have a 1.7 percent chance of moving up to the No. 1 overall pick in the lottery, which will be held May 21. The Wolves have never improved their position in the draft lottery.
The Timberwolves also have two second-round draft picks, 52nd overall and 59th.
The draft will be held on June 27.
