Southern Minnesota Albert Lea REACT C-143 recently collected teddy bears to donate to the local fire department, highway patrol and victim’s crisis center.

REACT is an organization with groups all over the world in which members participate as volunteers to provide highway safety and emergency communications via citizen band and General Mobile radios.

The local team is always ready to assist law enforcement agencies during emergencies. REACT will be coordinating communications for a variety of charitable activities such as the 100-mile Freeborn County Bike-A-Thon, Eddie Cochran Car Cruise, Fourth of July safety break and the April Sorensen Marathon. The team also promotes a train safety program called Operation Lifesaver.
