The Albert Lea junior varsity boys’ golf team separated into two teams to compete Friday with varsity squads from United South Central, Alden-Conger and St. Clair at Green Lea Golf Course in Albert Lea.
Alex Syverson led Albert Lea’s cherry team to a second-place finish.
Syverson was the medalist for the meet. He finished the course in 77 strokes.
United South Central won the meet with a score of 330.
