SPIRE, or Special People in Religious Education, will hold its monthly church service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Crossroads Church, 3402 Hoeger Lane in Albert Lea. This will be the last church service until Sept. 19. There will be music, an object lesson and a message from the Rev. Dave Hernes. Refreshments and fellowship will follow.
