Furniture, tires reported dumped in ditch
Furniture was reported discarded in the ditch about a half a mile south and a half a mile east of the Oak View Golf Course at 12:48 p.m. Monday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. Several tires were also reported in the ditch on Freeborn County Road 51 about a half mile west of County Road 12.
Mailbox damaged
A mailbox was reported damaged by farm equipment at 69200 Freeborn County Road 46 at 2:59 p.m. Monday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Business broken into
A-Best Sew & Vac, 1201 E. Main St., was reported broken into at 7:58 a.m. Monday, according to Albert Lea police.
Window shot
A window at 120 S. Washington Ave. was reported shot with a BB gun at 9:04 a.m. Monday, according to police.
2 cited for trespassing
Two teenage girls were cited for trespassing after they reportedly went into the former Ramsey School building, 207 E. Fourth St., at 5:53 p.m. Monday, according to Albert Lea police.
Runaway found in Albert Lea
A 15-year-old runaway from Britt, Iowa, was reported found in Albert Lea at 10:35 p.m. Monday at 822 W. Clark St., according to Albert Lea police.
Vehicle reported stolen
A 1997 black GMC Jimmy was reported stolen from 410 Winter St. sometime between 2 and 10 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle was reportedly taken from the driveway of the residence, Albert Lea police stated. There are no suspects.
