No laws against these inequities

We had visitors from Slovakia and the Czech Republic in last week. The team leader stayed at our house, and we took him to the play. Martin knew I was Catholic, and after the play asked if the anti-Catholic jokes didn’t bother me. I told him that I am straight, white, male, Catholic and a Republican so I could just as well wear a sign that says kick me because there are no laws to protect these groups against discrimination.

If you are thinking religion is protected under the constitution remember that the President Barack Obama administration has initiated rules forcing Catholics to pay for abortions and the Democratic-controlled Minnesota government has decided that church morality is decided by a majority vote in the House and Senate. Republican groups can be singled out for extra scrutiny by the IRS at the whim of “low level” employees with no worry of discipline. The list goes on and on.
