Man arrested in stolen pickup

Albert Lea police arrested a 27-year-old Dexter, Iowa, man early this morning after he was reportedly discovered driving a stolen red Chevy pickup from Clear Lake, Iowa.
According to police, Richard Lavain Miller Jr. was arrested for felony theft, fleeing police and having no Minnesota driver’s license.
Police were alerted to Miller after a reported gas drive-off from Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St.
An officer found Miller at the Dash-in Dine gas station on Front Street near the Trailside Apartments and attempted to pull him over. A short chase ensued eastbound on Front Street, and Miller was eventually pulled over near the Blazing Star Trail. He was reportedly traveling about 30 mph.
