Private graveside services were held for Paula J. Dahl, 63, of Rochester, formerly of Albert Lea and Denver, Colo. Interment was in East Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery, rural Albert Lea.

Paula was born in Albert Lea on Sept. 28, 1949, the daughter of Roger and Arla (Iverson) Dahl.

She was a 1967 graduate of Albert Lea High School. Paula worked at Rose Memorial Hospital in Denver for more than 30 years before returning to live in Rochester. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved spending time with her dog, Luci.

She is survived by her parents Roger and Arla Dahl of Albert Lea, two sisters: Kathy (Dave) Medd of Hollandale and Mary (Mark) Christopherson of Kasson, and nieces and nephews and their families.

Paula was a very caring and compassionate person and will be greatly missed.
