Here are highlights in history for Feb. 27, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:

1988 — Personnel from Naeve Ambulance and the Albert Lea Fire Department conducted Emergency Medical Training sessions at Tow ‘N’ Travel on South Garfield Avenue.

1978 — Carmen Epland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Epland of Emmons, would be serving as a page for Minnesota Rep. Henry Savelkoul of Albert Lea.
