A 19-year-old Albert Lea man was reportedly taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after Albert Lea police received a report that a man was chasing his brother around with knives at 635 E. Sixth St.

The man also allegedly lit a crib on fire. A child was not in the crib.

Omar Rodriguez, 19, is facing a charge of second-degree assault, according to police. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for an evaluation.
