Man cited for hit-and-run crash
Christopher Dean Olson was cited for a hit-and-run and fleeing the scene after a crash on Minnesota Highway 13 near Manchester around 11:50 p.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. Olson was found near William Street in Albert Lea after fleeing the scene, according to reports.
Criminal damage reported
The driver side window was reported broken out of a vehicle at 10 p.m. Friday at 204 Railroad Ave. Items were reportedly missing.
A back storm door window was reported smashed sometime after 7 p.m. Friday at 303 Crescent Drive, according to the Albert Lea police.
Two vehicles were reportedly broken into near 519 E. Eighth St. The incident was reported to police at 9:37 a.m. Saturday.
Items were reported missing from the residence at 1111 Madison Ave. The incident was reported to police at 9 p.m. Sunday.
Men cited for possession
Seth Connor Tovar was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding during a traffic stop around 12:30 a.m. Friday. The incident happened near Freeborn County Road 26 and 800th Avenue according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Jason Paul Stultz, 34, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at 6:48 a.m. Friday on Front Street, according to Albert Lea police reports.
Laptop reported stolen
A laptop computer was reported stolen to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office at 9 p.m. Friday. The resident stated nothing else was missing at 21956 733rd Ave.
Walmart employee cited for theft
Alyssa Marie Piper, 22, was cited for theft at 4:19 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., according to Albert Lea police. The report stated she worked for the retailer.
Geneva Meats reportedly broken into
Geneva Meats, at 103 W. Main St. in Geneva was reported a break-in to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office at noon Sunday.
Woman cited for theft
Carrie Lee Santee, 38, was cited for misdemeanor theft at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., around 6 p.m. Saturday, according to Albert Lea police.
