Column: Thanks for Listening

Dankie, basima, cheers, mudd, dank schon, grazie, gratias, arigato, manbote, sipas and siyabonga are all ways to say thank you.

Our Progress Edition this past Sunday makes me humbly say thank you to all of our area’s heroes. During the last year, the people of our region, due to our weather, life’s mishaps, mistakes being made, you name it, were put into the uneasy position of being heroes.

Their response: HUGE.

They stepped up and wrapped a cape around their necks and flew into action. I am so glad that there are so many ways to say thanks.

While we are on the thank you bandwagon, I need to thank my wonderful co-workers.

Everyone on the staff of the Albert Lea Tribune worked incredibly hard on putting together an amazing Progress Edition and deserve my highest kudos. I am so lucky to work with so many incredible people and to them I say cheers!
