Here are highlights in history for March 3, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:
1992 — A Tribune photo poll asked six people if they would be participating in the precinct caucuses. Four of the replies were no, one was maybe, and one was probably.
1982 — The Albert Lea High School Tigerettes girls’ basketball team lost their last game of the season to Rochester Mayo with a score of 62-53.
1972 — Don Paulson retired after 20 years as a patrolman, jailer and dispatcher for the Albert Lea Police Department.
