Hopefully, there is more room in Roch.

We drove to Mankato in August to hear what our representitive had to say about the health care issue. When we arrived we had to look for a parking space as cars were coming in by the droves. There was a Teamsters union tractor-trailer in the lot along with two chartered buses from Rochester. As we walked up the sidewalk to the school there was a long line of people waiting to get in. A lady from Blomming Prairie was leaving, she said we might as well turn around and go home since the 700-seat auditorium was filled by 3 p.m. and the town hall meeting was to start at 6 p.m.

I was on the school board, and when we had to large a crowd for the board room we would move it into the gymnasium. It certainly was too bad that this meeting was not moved into the Mankato school gymnasium in the same building. Hundreds of people showed up and were unable to hear what was discussed. It is my understanding he will have one in Rochester this Saturday. I hope he plans ahead and has room for all.
