Blood drive collects 163 pints

One hundred and sixty three pints of blood were collected at the Freeborn-Mower Red Cross blood drive on Aug. 21-23 at the Armory. The amount will help save up to 489 lives.
One gallon pins were awarded to Linda Morkid and Anthony Martin.
Four gallon pins were awarded to Scott Stolaas, James Guffey and Vern Teras.
A five gallon pin was awarded to Gary Miller.
Ten gallon pins were awarded to Helene Westrum and Brenda Blanshan.
Tim Donahue was awarded a 12 gallon pin.
