Two Waldorf College students created a video for the United Way of Freeborn County that illustrates the mission of the nonprofit fundraiser.
It’s not the first video for the United Way of Freeborn County, said its executive director, Ann Austin, but, “This is by far the most professionally done video — with live clips.”
Students Phillip Koolhoven and Carlos Ruiz said they created this project for the sake of their portfolio. They are communication majors at Waldorf in Forest City, Iowa.
Amanda Weiss, marketing specialist for the United Way, said the students set up the interviews and shot and edited the footage.
The video can be seen at the Albert Lea Tribune’s website.
“The video is a great tool for businesses to show their employees during workplace campaigns for United Way,” Weiss said.
