Local scouting units will collect food for the Scouting for Food program on March 26. Bags will be delivered with the Freeborn County Shopper’s March 22 edition and scouts will collect food on March 26 between 10 a.m. and noon. Last year almost 3,500 pounds of food was collected and distributed to local food shelves. Donations will also be accepted at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds by the main entrance. Any non-perishable food items will be accepted.
